How much waste do people recycle in Italy?


According to this article published by IlSole24Ore, in 2015 recycling was not well spread everywhere in Italy. This article shows a detailed map of the country in which it is possible to find all Italian municipalities, provinces and regions.

You can find in green the municipalities with the highest percentage of recycling and in red those areas with the worst one.

In 2015 the regions with the highest percentage of recycling were: Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sardegna, Campania and Marche, while there were big problems in Sicilia, Calabria, Puglia and Basilicata.
